KAGOULE SHOW OFF HEAVIER SIDE WITH NEW TRACK 'PHARMACY'

Nottingham alt-rock trio KAGOULE have teamed up with DIY Magazine and Jägermeister for the release of a brand new track, "Pharmacy".

Ahead of their show at The Old Blue Last in London tonight for the second round of DIY and Jägermeister's Curtain Call event, KAGOULE were invited to lay down a new track at Strongroom Studio on Curtain Road itself, giving fans their first taste of new music from the band since the release of their debut album 'Urth' last year.

KAGOULE vocalist/guitarist Cai Burns comments:

"This song's maybe a different direction to what we've done with the other tracks, and it stands out amongst some of the newer stuff that we're writing, which is probably a bit more similar to our older stuff."

KAGOULE drummer Lawrence English adds:

"It's heavier than a lot of our songs, but like Cai was saying, a lot of the others aren't so it's not like we're getting loads heavier.  I think we're just generally moving in quite a few different directions and this is a heavier experiment for us."
