'Old Rake', the debut solo album from ex-EVILE guitarist Ol Drake, is out now in Europe.
Ol Drake's first solo project since leaving UK thrashers EVILE in 2013 showcases the six-string shredder's undeniable talent with nine tracks of instrumental guitar which encompass a myriad of styles, including flat-out shredding, classical, progressive, melodic and acoustic.
'Old Rake' was recorded with producer and former DEATH, TESTAMENT and OBITUARY guitarist James Murphy and features guest appearances from the likes of Murphy, Gary Holt (EXODUS, SLAYER), and Josh Middleton (SYLOSIS). Drums on the entire album were performed by FEAR FACTORY sticksman Mike Heller.
'Old Rake' is available now on CD, with a number of limited edition signed CDs available while stocks last. For anyone brave enough, there is also a deluxe 242-page tab book transcribed by Ol Drake himself and featuring full tablature for the entire album for both guitar and bass.
