ORDER OF ENNEAD have also posted the rest of their tour diary reporting all
of the events from each day of the Winterfest tour.

ORDER OF ENNEAD vocalist/guitarist KEVIN QUIRION writes:

"Day 7 Off In Frankfurt
The Stuttgart show got canceled so we had the day off in Frankfurt. Spent
the day walking around with John Li and some guys from the Amenta. It wasn't
the most interesting city in the world. While waiting at the train station
Jarod from the Amenta ended up getting stuck talking to a meth-head. I could
have interrupted, but it was funny. We ate a good Italian restraurant. Later
that night met up with about five others including the guitarist for Samael.
Ate at a Thai Restaurant and headed back to the bus.

Day 8 Frankfurt Batschkapp
Another good show. We've been very consistant. Our best merch day so far.
Germans like to get really drunk at shows, but they also support the bands a
lot with cheering and fist pumping. This is something Luxemboring needs to
learn. Backstage is very cramped and not very much room for 6 bands.

Day 9 Bochum Matrix
This club use to be a brewery and its all brick and shaped like a tube.
Sounded good when no one was in the room, but when it filled up the sound
went downhill.
Great meal for dinner today, turkey with mushroom and cream sauce. Very cool
backstage also with posters all over the walls. Took a very cold shower on
arrival. I guess Europe hasn't discovered warm water yet. After Paris, this
was the worst load-in. Too many steps and we had to wait for people to leave
to load-out.

Day 10 Erstfeld Transilvania Live
Switzerland is beautfiul and the club is huge. I walked around for about two
hours by myself. The town was small, but right in the mountains. When I got
back to the club I met up with two friends. They took me into town and I had
Italian food. Lunch sucks on tour. You get nothing, but lunch meat, cheese
and bread so if I can find a McDonalds, i go. I never eat there at home, but
its something I know. Biggest crowd of the tour was tonight. Glen Benton
decided to throw fruit at us tonight. During their set he said "No one had
the balls back there to throw anything?" So I immediately grabbed some
apples and tossed away. I had too for the honor of the tour. Started getting
bored after our show so I played along to the Deicide set in the back.
Anything to break up the monotony.

Day 11 Milan Rolling Stone.
Got up and had to get out of the bus right away. It was a drop off and the
bus was going to park a couple blocks away. Everyone was tired and with a
small backstage trying to find room to sleep. Venue was nice, but usually a
disco. Walked around with Scott and John and found one of the few places
open for lunch on Sunday. Had pizza and it was good. Pizza in the U.S. is
just as good thought. Couldn't sell merch today. Something about the club
wanting 33% and something about the Mob. Bootleg Deicide merch being sold
outside the venue explains it all. Found a McDonalds, had a burger, anything
so I don't have to eat deli meat.

Day 12 Worgl Komma
Another venue in the mountains. Its nice in Austria. It reminds me of a
tourist ski spot. Walked around with the Amenta guys today, found another
McD's. Good show. Guy was taping it for us and will send it when we get back
home. We play early so the place wasn't packed yet, but it was still a good
show. A lot of compliments about the show from different people."

British grindcore/death metal legends CARCASS has been reissued and is

SYMPHONIES OF SICKNESS, CARCASS' breakthrough 1989 album cemented the
band's place at the forefront of the emerging grindcore scene, and
continued to
shock the metal world with its gory imagery. Now available again after

consists
of interviews with the members of CARCASS - KEN OWEN, BILL STEER, JEFF
WALKER and MICHAEL AMOTT - which, when combined with the other four
reissued
albums, makes up a two and a half hour documentary examining all eras
of the
band, from their gore-soaked grind beginnings to the more refined,
melodic
moments of their later output.

SYMPHONIES OF SICKNESS is available now in North America from your
favorite music
retailer, and can also be purchased from the EARACHE U.S.

MUNICIPAL WASTE THRASHES ACROSS NORTH AMERICA ON THE NO FEAR ENERGY MUSIC TOUR

MUNICIPAL WASTE, the critically acclaimed crossover thrash act from
Richmond, VA will be playing alongside such metal luminaries as LAMB
OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and GOD FORBID on the No
Fear Energy Music Tour. The tour will start on April 2nd in Phoenix,
AZ and end on May 15th in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This hotly anticipated tour, sponsored by No Fear energy drink will
see MUNICIPAL WASTE take their explosive blend of thrash all over the
country and put them in front of some of their biggest North American
audiences to date. The band, who has been cooped up in their rehearsal
space for months, diligently writing and rehearsing material for their
yet to be titled summer release on EARACHE RECORDS. The WASTE is eager
to get back out on the road to deliver their hard-hitting flavor to
every town along this tour.

"I'm excited about this tour;" says MUNICIPAL WASTE drummer, Dave
Witte. "It contains a little of everything, home town buddies LAMB OF
GOD, old friends GOD FORBID, friends to be made AS I LAY DYING &
CHILDREN OF BODOM and of course, plenty of metal."

Witte's enthusiasm about the tour is hard to contain, especially when
it comes to talking about the many faces of headbangers young and old
that the band will come across during the length of this tour. For
them, he leaves a special message:
"This is a perfect tour for every kind of metal head from the beginner
to the seasoned veteran. Join us & come face the Waste!"

One of the advantages for MUNICIPAL WASTE being on this tour is the
chance to really set themselves apart from the other bands on the
lineup and turn heads as the lone thrash band on the bill.

"I think we definitely stand out on the bill, but that's a good
thing;" says MUNICIPAL WASTE guitarist, Ryan Waste. "This is a chance
for us to spread our style of hardcore thrash to a crowd that's
probably never heard it - get ready for a full speed assault on the
ears!"

Make sure to catch MUNICIPAL WASTE alongside LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY
DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and GOD FORBID on the No Fear Energy Music

ORDER OF ENNEAD POST TOUR REPORT

Floridian extreme metallers ORDER OF ENNEAD, who have just reached the end
of the Winterfest 2009 tour with DEICIDE, SAMAEL, VADER, DEVIAN and THE
AMENTA, have posted a diary report chronicling the first week of the tour.

ORDER OF ENNEAD vocalist/guitarist KEVIN QUIRION writes:

"Day 1 013 Tilburg
Arrived at the airport on January 8th and quickly got into the bus and
headed two hours to Tilburg. Within a couple hours of being at the venue it
was time to go on. After party was pretty intense with meeting everyone and
settling in. Show went well. Man those Polish dudes in Vader can drink.

Day 2 Haarlem Patronaat
Drove to Haarlem. John Lie and myself got up early and checked out an old
cathedral. The new drummer of Arsis, Dave Kinkade, came to the show and we
hung out. Show went very well and we were sounding tight. That warm up
show in Tampa really paid off. Hanging out with the guys in the Amenta a
lot and also talking to Legion from Devian, great guy. Ralph Santolla uses
every chance to give John Li hell. It's hilarious.

Day 3 Vosselaar Biebob
Another good show. Gave some pics to Legion to post on the Massive Music
blog. Also wandered the streets with John Li and the drummer from The
Amenta, Frog. Some guy recognized us from the show and set his phone down
beside us. There was a video playing with a lady and horse. You can figure
out the rest. I don't know why he thought we'd enjoy that.

Day 4 Paris La Loco
Started the day with load in and then went to the Louvre with Ralph, Legion,
Devian's bass player, John Li and the singer of the Amenta. We had about
two hours to run through it and it was awesome. Saw the Venus De Milo and
the Mona Lisa. Played a killer show. After that I hit the Eiffel Tower
with a couple guys from the Amenta and John Li. On the way got some pics of
the Arc Du Triumphe. Had some crepes and they ruled.

Day 5 Lyon CCO
Woke up and wanted McDonald's. This guy, Gregory, that works for the venue
walked me there. It took about twenty minutes both ways and I really
appreciated him walking that far just for a burger. The venue is in the
middle of the suburbs so there wasn't much to do. After we play, the waits
seem to be getting longer and the days are starting to blend together. The
crew they have working the tour is doing a great job.

Day 6 Esch/Alzette Rockhal
As soon as we hit the Lux border there was nothing but factories around.
The venue is in between a railroad track and an old factory. There is a
mall that seems very out of place within walking distance and isn't that
interesting. The crowd tonight was very dead. I had to resort to taunting
them to get any kind of reaction. The Stuttgart date has been cancelled so
we are going to have an unscheduled day off. Not sure where we'll be going,
but I hope we park somewhere that we can do something entertaining."

Check out video footage of ORDER OF ENNEAD playing in Paris on the
Winterfest tour at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWoot4A2b_4

Only a couple of weeks after returning home from Winterfest, ORDER OF ENNEAD
are set to head back out on tour in the U.S. with DEICIDE, VITAL REMAINS and
ADRIFT. Catch them at the following shows:

08 Feb 2009 - Farmingdale, NY - Club Loaded
14 Feb 2009 - Detroit, MI - Harpos
16 Feb 2009 - Aurora, CO - Iliff Park Saloon
17 Feb 2009 - Salt Lake City, UT - Club Vegas
18 Feb 2009 - Farmington, NM - Big City Nightclub
20 Feb 2009 - San Jose, CA - Voodoo Lounge
21 Feb 2009 - Yucaipa, CA - Angels Roadhouse
22 Feb 2009 - West Hollywood, CA - Key Club

ORDER OF ENNEAD's self-titled debut album consists of 11 tracks of blasting
death metal intensity, mixed with touches of black metal melodrama. The
album is out now worldwide and is available as a limited edition CD

OCEANO DEBUTS ON SIRIUS XM'S LIQUID METAL TOP 30

With the dark cloud that has seemingly hung over the heads over the
band these days, the members of OCEANO were pleased to see that a
track from their upcoming debut, DEPTHS has cracked the top 30 most
spun albums on Sirius XM's Liquid Metal for the week of 1/13/09
through 1/20/09. The track, "District of Misery" came in at number 27
on the list, flanked by bands like TRIVIUM, IN THIS MOMENT and BRING
ME THE HORIZON.

With no released album of which to speak of, OCEANO has made a big
enough impression upon the programmers at Liquid Metal that they gave
them a high quality amount of national exposure. However, considering
the incredible daily demand for OCEANO that we here at EARACHE hear
from their fans, we want you to let Sirius XM know how much you want
to hear OCEANO's brutal track, "District of Misery" on Liquid Metal!

Go to http://www.sirius.com/liquidmetal and DEMAND that they play
"District of Misery" from OCEANO's spring 2009 debut, DEPTHS! Don't
stop until they stomp all over the competition and hit number 1!

OCEANO guitarist Andrew Mikhail and bassist Jason Jones were involved
in a van accident over the weekend. Both members luckily limped out of
the accident with minor injuries, however their van and the trailer
that was attached to it had flipped and is need of repair. With no
means of transport for the band and their gear, OCEANO was forced to
cancel their dates with xLiferuinerx and Through the Fire.

Read all about it and view pictures of the downed van at http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=58874695&blogID=464583407

OCEANO MEMBERS INVOLVED IN VAN ACCIDENT, FORCED TO CANCEL DATES

OCEANO guitarist Andrew Mikhail and bassist Jason Jones were involved
in a van accident over the weekend. Both members luckily limped out of
the accident with minor injuries, however their van and the trailer
that was attached to it had flipped and is need of repair. With no
means of transport for the band and their gear, OCEANO was forced to
cancel their dates with xLiferuinerx and Through the Fire.

The band made a post on their MySpace blog about the situation:

"Today Oceano has suffered a major loss, guitarist Andrew Mikhail and
bassist Jason Jones were in a terrible accident this morning while
picking up the band's new van and trailer from Belvidere, IL. Nearly
10 minutes of completing sale they were headed back home to pick up
the rest of the band, and get back on the "sinner's reward" tour in
due time. Unexpectedly the van flipped into a ditch on the side of
highway. As Andrew was driving along with the empty trailer attached,
it was hit with a hard wind thus pushing the trailer out of alignment
with the van. While trying to maintain and keep the van steady from
merging into other lanes of traffic, the van spun out of control, hit
a patch of ice, and flipped out of traffic and into the ground.
Considering the urgency of trying to find transportation in due time
(with mix-ups with money transfers, etc.) in order to get the van and
get back on tour, the van was not "road ready" JUST YET (aka new
tires, etc.) which made this week to be one hell of a week for us.
Thankfully, they limped out of the accident fine (SORRY LAMBGOATERS)
due to people being "good citizens" and helping them out of the van.
We have cancelled our appearances on the sinner's reward tour with
xLiferuinerx and Through the Fire and HOPE to be back on the road in
time for the TPTD/Catalepsy tour on 1/28. We'd like to apologize in
advance for any inconvenience to anyone who wanted to come out and
rock out with us on the SRT. We'll be hitting the same areas on the
TPTD tour, so hopefully we'll see you there!

As some of you may know, towing a vehicle (let alone, TWO NEWLY
purchased ones) can be pretty damaging to the pocket. Not to mention,
to add insult to injury, fines and repairs for the accident to pile on
top. We'd like to ask you guys for your help in this time of need, if
anyone can paypal ANYTHING to us to help out in the "relief" of this
situation, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Donations can be sent via
PAYPAL to xlunarxabyssx@yahoo.com. Please help us in our time of need!
much thanks, much love, much respect, and dont forget to wear your
seatbelts =]
see you guys soon!
-oceano

p.s. we'll never die."

CAULDRON CHARGED WITH PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

Canadian heavy metal heroes CAULDRON have run into trouble with the law in
Toronto and have been charged with public drunkenness.

CAULDRON singer JASON DECAY explains how they kicked off 2009 in true metal
style: "Me and Chris just got hit up with public drunkenness charges for
drinking open liquor on King Street West... Kinda sucks, and there's no
criminal record, but we both got $125 dollar fines. This is no coincidence!
Oh, and we also wrote our new hit single tonite, "Don't Say That You Love
Me", to be featured on our new next album. Shit, what a good nite that got
shitty!"

Drummer CHRIS RITES states: "We were trying to be nice and co-operate 'cause
usually they just make you dump it out, but when they started writing up the
tickets I got pissed. I managed to contain myself though, 'cause I didn't
want to end up in the drunk tank again."

And the end result? JASON DECAY closes: "Well, I was gonna call in sick
today, but now I definitely have to go to work to pay off the ticket. My
big concern was making sure that this wouldn't affect our criminal records
when leaving the country. I tried to get rid of my bottle by throwing it on
the ground, but it ended up smashing and being even more noticeable. Chris
was keeping his tall in his pocket the whole time thinking that maybe he
wouldn't have to dump it out, but they turned their shit road on that too."

Check out video footage of CAULDRON showing their love for alcohol with
their live cover of "Making Noise And Drinking Beer" at

CAULDRON recently finished work on their debut album, CHAINED TO THE NITE.
Produced by IAN BLURTON and mixed by NEIL KERNON (DOKKEN, QUEENSRYCHE, JUDAS
PRIEST), CHAINED TO THE NITE was recorded in Toronto and proves that
traditional, true-to-the-roots heavy metal is once again on the rise.

Before the release of CHAINED TO THE NITE, CAULDRON will make their Earache
label debut on the upcoming HEAVY METAL KILLERS album - a compilation
featuring 13 new tracks from the very best bands of the emerging "New Wave
of Traditional Heavy Metal" scene.

HEAVY METAL KILLERS is due to be released on February 16th and will be
available on CD as well as limited edition vinyl LP in black, red, blue and
white. Pre-order your copy now at

EVILE URGE YOU TO SIGN "NO NOISE CONTROL" PETITION

British metallers EVILE know a thing or two about thrashing, and they know
that the music has to be loud. The band were therefore slightly worried to
hear something which could affect fans of live music all across the UK.

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE explains: "I was browsing the Downing Street
website to see what exactly our Prime Minister is doing, and I came across
the 'Petitions' section. One that stood out to me was a petition for 'No
Noise Control'. Now, I remember playing a show in a venue where they were
strict on the level of noise, as they had one of these Noise Control
devices. It was so quiet, it felt like a crime headbanging whilst playing
the music. I'd hate to go and see my favourite band live and have the music
being at that level.

"I urge all UK live music fans to sign this petition to make it be known
that we love live music, and for it to be that ridiculously quiet would be a
travesty. The kind of music we play is aggressive. You can't have
aggressive music at low volumes. It defeats the purpose. I want to have my
head blasted off by a riff, not my genitals slightly tickled. Please take a
look, sign and pass on!"

To view and sign the petition, head to
http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/NoNoiseControl/

EVILE are currently working on material for a new album, tentatively due to
be released later this year on Earache Records.

EVILE's ENTER THE GRAVE redux edition is out now worldwide and includes the
album plus a guitar pick, ENTER THE GRAVE patch and an exclusive 2-hour
bonus DVD. Purchase it from the Earache Records European Webstore at

CAULDRON FINISH RECORDING ALBUM, REVEAL TRACK LIST

Toronto metallers CAULDRON, who recently signed a multi-album, worldwide
deal with Earache Records, have finished work on their debut album, CHAINED
TO THE NITE.

CAULDRON singer JASON DECAY comments: "That's fucken rite, she's all done,
mixed up and almost ready to go, we're just waiting on the mastering which
should take place this week sometime, so we should have a new tune or two up
on the myspace by the end of next week! In the meantime, you can check out
one of the tracks featured on the Heavy Metal Killers comp."

years after the NWOBHM, CAULDRON pay homage and show that a new wave is upon
us. JASON DECAY finishes: "It's going to be VERY HEAVY & METAL!!!"

CHAINED TO THE NITE is due to be released by Earache Records on April 6th.
The track listing is as follows:

01. Young And Hungry
02. Conjure The Mass
03. Chained Up In Chains
04. The Leaven / Fermenting Enchantress
05. Dreams Die Young
06. Bound To The Stake
07. Witch Trail
08. Midnite Hour
09. Chains Around Heaven

JASON DECAY enthuses: "There'll also be a bonus track or two on the limited
first press of CDs and a different "vinyl only" bonus track for the vinyl!"

Check out a video of CAULDRON playing their live, infamous cover of "Making
Noise And Drinking Beer" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf8kblpZeWg

OCEANO TO TOUR AS A 4-PIECE AFTER PARTING WAYS WITH GUITARIST

Chicago deathcore heavyweights, OCEANO have parted ways with founding
member and guitarist, Jeremy Caroll and plan to continue on with their
upcoming tours as a 4-piece act. Vocalist, Adam Warren released this
statement on the matter:

"Within our past few tours tension had seemingly grew above that of a
typical level for a band touring the country cramped in a van. Over
the past months certain members of the band we're begining to really
'butt heads' and clash with Jeremy on a personality level, to a point
where tour was almost becoming more of a burden to deal with the
stress levels and having to diffuse each others frustrations from
this. Things apparantly increased to the point of taking such action.
Atop that, it was felt that coming from a professional level he did
not represent the band well at times when it counted most.

"There has been so much pented up frustration between parties of this
band over this situation that at one point, we we're almost on the
verge of a few members leaving the band completely if the situation
wasn't fixed. Watching the complexity of the situation unfold, we were
essentially put in a very shitty situation; Either allow the majority
of members leave because of their frustration, and subsequently, there
be no more Oceano OR lose ONE member, thus kicking out the one who
kept this band alive for so long, yet who was the one most people in
the band were dissatisfied with.

"We clearly couldn't have the MAJORITY of this band disappear and
essentially the band die with a full-length out in 2 months and 2
tours all set to go, so obviously in the end we made the hard decision
of parting ways with Jeremy. Hopefully many of you can see and
understand we had a really fucked up situation on our hands either way
it was handled.

"We are BEYOND tired of 'lineup changes' and through it all we've
fought to make sure this band continues on, and that we will continue
to have the opportunity to tour and play our music for all of you, as
so did Jeremy, but for what was felt to be the better decision to do
so, we had to part ways with the only 'original' member left of this
band.

"Rumors, Shit talk from 'friends,' and everything else aside though,
we have nothing against him for what has transpired and the choice we
did make was not done out of anger or agression towards him, but
merely in the best interest of keeping this band and its core lineup
in-tact. Hopefully there is at least an understanding in that.

"With that said, for the time being we shall continue on as a 4-peice
and we shall not be slowing down Whatsoever. Our only minor misstep is
that being our search to purchase a new van and trailer. But that
should be figured out shortly and we shall be ready and on the road
for our next tour's with Liferuiner and Through the Fire (Jan/Feb) and
then our tour with Too Pure To Die and Catalepsy (Jan/feb).

"Thanks for taking and/or wasting your time reading this, and see you
on the road soon."

GAMA BOMB VOTED BEST NEWCOMER IN TERRORIZER POLL

Irish thrash heads GAMA BOMB have been voted 'Best Newcomers' of 2008 in the
Terrorizer readers' poll.

2008 was a great year for GAMA BOMB - frontman PHILLY BYRNE enthuses that
2008 was "Explosive. It was the biggest year in the history of Gama Bomb by
far. Making an album in Britain, touring Europe twice and even more made
this a landmark year. It's amazing we've all still got full mouths of teeth
to be honest with the amount of drinking and rough housing that's gone on.
Wicked. We'll remember 2008 very fondly."

Now 2008 has ended on a high note and 2009 has begun in the most awesome
fashion, winning 'Best Newcomer' in the Terrorizer readers' poll, plus being
voted second-best live band and fifth-best band overall.

A stoked GAMA BOMB vocalist PHILLY BYRNE says: "It made our day to hear how
we slayed in this poll. To be named best newcomers was amazing, and we
raised a glass of German beer when we heard the news. It just shows that
even after six years together as a band, you can become the hottest new
thing to some people, and that means we're doing something right. We're
especially proud to have performed so well in the live act category: we
gigged as hard as anyone last year on a much lower profile than most of the
bands we trounced in that list, and next year we're going to top it, because
nobody can put on a show like GAMA BOMB. Seriously, look out: people will
die from enjoyment at a G-Bomb show in the near future. Get insurance."

See for yourself just how good a GAMA BOMB live show is by catching the band
on tour with thrash legends OVERKILL and EXODUS plus TORTURE SQUAD:

21.02.2009 NL Uden - De Pul
