SSS Rip it up!

Earache’s new signings SSS rip it up!

Liverpool thrashers SSS narrowly avoided a “ Nautical Disaster” last week when playing a gig on the “daffodil”* Ferry boat on the Mersey for Channel 4 with “Hot club de Paris” and “Go Faster”
According to one review
“After a performance by hardcore outfit SSS, it is believed that various stabilizing bollards on the ships hull were cracked and ruptured. Despite efforts from the crew to steer the ship to land, control over the rudder could not be regained and the ship went down one mile from the shore.”

Front man Foxy comments:
“The fact that we never soundchecked and we were sanwhiched between two indy bands was great.
noone realy knew what to expect.
especially channel 4 who i thort wer going to go flying as they wer in the pit with expensive cameras filming
ther was a line of these indy, arty types up front, expecting more of what they love
broomo fires up his axe and the SSS goons that wer onboard donned ski masks
i could see them bobbing up and down behind the front line- i just laffed
we fired everything up. shouted "lets go!", then the front line got scatterd like sticks in the wind
gig was mega!!”

The programme, due to air a week Friday. Meanwhile catch SSS in this week’s Kerrang! Magazine where they recently hung out in a scrap yard to get some photos “thats all it was for really. fotos. we got eased from loads. was going to backheal us again but i worked me magic and we wer in” says Foxy “we wanted some real heavy metal.....endid up with clapped out rusty scrap metal. it says a lot........”
See our thrashers pose for photos in the attached pictures and check out this week’s Kerrang for more SSS!
