WHITE WIZZARD have released a brand new track online, ahead of the release of their upcoming new album, THE DEVILS CUT.
The new track, titled "Strike the Iron", is the second track on THE DEVILS CUT and follows the release of another new song, "Kings of the Highway", a few weeks ago.
WHITE WIZZARD bassist and mainman JON LEON comments:
"Strike the Iron is my favorite White Wizzard song I have ever written, along with The Sun Also Rises, which closes the new record. I am very proud of the arrangement. I had the verse melody in my head and chorus line before I even picked up the guitar and started writing it. It has stunning leads by Jake and Will, and Joseph interpreted the vocal melody fantastically and gave so much character to it. This song really exemplifies everything this line-up is capable of and everyone's talents really came through on it. It never lets up and we are very excited to get this one out there live... I expect it to be our opening song for the next couple of years."

THE DEVILS CUT is due to be released on June 3rd in Europe on Earache Records, and on June 25th in the USA via Century Media/Earache Records. The album features artwork by CAMERON DAVIS, who is known for his work as lead character designer and illustrator for the Guitar Hero video game series.

RIVAL SONS CONFIRM MORE EUROPEAN SHOWS
RIVAL SONS have confirmed a number of new European summer shows, including dates in Germany.
The band will be playing a handful of shows in the USA before setting off on their month-long European tour, which kicks off on June 8th in Finland and includes both headlining shows and festival appearances, as well as three shows with rock legends KISS.

"After a couple of weeks of sleep and surf, we're almost ready to leave again for a short run of dates across the US midwest, starting 29th May supporting the great radio play we've been getting. OCEANO CONFIRM HEAVY MTL SOUTH OF THE BORDER TOUR
Chicago's OCEANO have been confirmed for the first ever "Heavy MTL South of the Border" tour.
Stopping in 15 cities in 13 states across the USA, the inaugural tour will showcase six acts at the forefront of their genre, featuring OCEANO, ALL SHALL PERISH, WITHIN THE RUINS, OBEY THE BRAVE, REFLECTIONS and BETRAYAL.
The Heavy MTL South of the Border tour is a spinoff of Canada's Heavy MTL festival, which will also host the South of the Border tour bands at this year's event on August 10th.

EVILE ANNOUNCE 'SKULL' MINI UK TOUR IN SEPTEMBER
EVILE have confirmed a mini UK tour for this September in support of the band's upcoming new album, SKULL.
The band will be playing four special shows around the UK and Ireland, with ticket prices for all dates available for just £5 in advance (€7.50 Euros for Dublin).
As a special thank you to their loyal followers, EVILE are giving their fans a chance to vote on their Facebook page for five tracks which the band will add to their set each night. The band will also be playing their new album, SKULL, in its entirety at the show in Manchester.

Philadelphia-based sci-fi thrashers VEKTOR have released a free 15-minute live EP in collaboration with Scion A/V, which is available to download now.
The free EP was recorded during the Earache Records label showcase at The Glass House in Pomona, California on January 12th, where VEKTOR celebrated Earache's 25th anniversary alongside label-mates BONDED BY BLOOD and OCEANO. The EP features two incredible live tracks, "Cosmic Cortex" and "Tetrastructural Minds".

Earache Records has launched its first ever Kickstarter campaign, offering fans a new 2013 printing of the classic NOCTURNUS album THRESHOLDS, fully endorsed by the band's founding member and drummer MIKE BROWNING.
Recorded at the legendary Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida and originally released in 1992, THRESHOLDS became a new benchmark for technical death metal and has become a regular request from fans since going out of print. The fan-funded repressing will see the album taken from the original DAT tape, mastered in FDR (Full Dynamic Range), and cut by NOEL SUMMERVILLE, who was responsible for the original vinyl cut.
